After the release of the animated film Khelom’s Customs, many people suggested me I make a sequel — the characters and the material were tempting enough not to stop at just five minutes. But at the time, I felt what I had was enough.
However, the characters found their way into illustrations. I was commissioned to create a Jewish calendar, and later — a short video for Hanukkah celebrations. I began to imagine: how would the people of Khelom celebrate Jewish holidays and commemorative dates?
And so, the Khelmites ended up in other stories — some of which are presented here.
